I keep making the same mistakes and I keep making empty apologies, “I’m sorry. I won’t do that again.” But I probably will make the same mistakes again, so don’t meet Kim Jae Ha. I couldn’t keep my promise to you, I wasn’t able to get over my feelings for you at all.
Baek Ja Eun, I….I…still like you.

I can’t believe it’s already November.
How fast time flies, and I’m saying this in a good way because of my Kdrama watching habit.
My officemates, friends, and family know my addiction very well. I am their “go to” person when it comes to all things Korean.
Typically, Kdramas have two sides when it comes down to their story lines. Either it’s too tragic or too light. I don’t mind the ending as long as it is not rushed, I feel frustrated when the PD do something that is far-fetched from the original story.
In Korea, due to fierce competition of the three major networks, SBS, MBC and KBS respectively, they will suddenly adjust a drama schedule based on the results of the TV ratings. Oh well, in Kdramaland it is given, you will be disappointed sometimes but it is ok since you will be moving on to the next drama.
Being Kdrama dependent I would always look forward to the next episode and wishing that it will be the next day or the next week. All of us drama fanatics know the agony of waiting for the next episode and waiting for the English subtitle to be available. And guys, it’s really a torture when you’re waiting for the subtitle, and mind you, when it comes to Korean dramas the one thing I don’t have is patience. I would find another way to understand those raw footages. I would search high and low to get it. Thanks to Dramabeans and Soulsrebel for their fast recaps.
I remembered watching City Hunter earlier this July, I was like glued on my desktop computer anticipating to see a “100% your download is complete” message. Oh and the most terrifying of all when i watch these great dramas, is when it is on its final week, I can’t believe that those three months just passed by like that, and at this point I’m already attached to those characters, that I usually have a two week adjustment period before I move on to the next drama.
Looking back on my college days, when i was watching Lovers in Paris (파리의 연인) and suddenly our television malfunctioned and it was already on its final episode but no worries because my mom is also a fan, so she went to a repair shop and got it fixed. Ah, those glory days where I would go to this tiny store which sold many Kdramas and Kmovies, and there was no DVD at that time, and internet and torrent was not yet popular but there was the VCD.
After graduating from college and I moved here in Manila. We do not have a television (TV), and I would not survive if I can not watch TV, I do prefer visual scene rather than hearing music. I will only appreciate a song if there is a music video and if it’s included in an OST. Going back, I just moved to a new place and my sister gave me an allowance for a month for my living expenses instead I bought a television. This was in 2005 and it was when I discovered KBS World, which aired Korean drama with English caption.
Afterwards many dramas aired on Philippine TV stations. Honestly, I am sometimes disoriented whenever I watch Tagalog dubbed dramas because I already saw the Korean version and I will tell to myself, they didn’t say that. The emotion is stronger than the Tagalog version and more often than not, the dialogue is so corny. And perhaps by this time, I was just so used to watching the drama with English subtitle.
